We want to keep you in the loop about recent changes that may affect your orders. Due to updated U.S. trade policies, shipments from Canada may now be subject to import duties and taxes upon arrival. This is new for all of us, and we’re still learning what it means—we’ll share updates as we know more.

What This Means for You

• Duties & Taxes: A 25% tariff may now apply to your order, collected by U.S. Customs when your package arrives. These fees are set by the U.S. government and are beyond our control.
• A Tip for Understanding Costs: The Canadian dollar is currently much lower than the U.S. dollar—by around the same percentage as these new tariffs. If you toggle the currency on our site to CAD, you’ll see the price we set for our local customers, which gives a better sense of your total cost after duties.
• Shipping Timelines: As these policies are still unfolding, there may be occasional delays at the border.

A Reminder About Our Return Policy
U.S. orders are exchange-only and non-refundable—see our full policy here. While U.S. customers have previously benefited from the de minimis rule (allowing duty-free shopping on orders up to $800 USD), Canadian customers have never had this advantage. This meant that when international orders were returned to us, we often had to pay duties on them—which is why, as a small brand, we made the decision to make all international orders non-refundable.
