I love this top, it’s an elevated version of a waffle. I don’t feel frumpy wearing it like most waffles. Stick with your regular size. It’s very cropped so you don’t want to loose too much length. I’d personally prefer an extra inch in length because I have a hard time finding pants high enough to cover my stomach but wearing a tank underneath works too.

I never thought I would love a thermal so much as the James Blouse. Typically I find thermals to be a basic but the cut and details of the James makes you feel dressy and the comfort of a basic. I have worn this so much over the past year, and pair it with jeans, Skirts and even my office looks. I sized to an XXL/1X for the bust as I didn't want any gapping and it is perfect.

I love the casual style, loose fit, material, shorter sleeves and the white colour as opposed to cream or ivory! It looks amazing with any pant or skirt that is high rise. I am typically an xsmall in all tops but like the fit and length of Harley Jae tops in the small/medium. I have the black one from a sample sale and just ordered the grey one. ❤️

I loveee the James blouse. The white was my second one after grey and I sized up to a s/m. Very glad I did as I’ve realized that size is better in this style as opposed to the xs HJ blouses I usually get (the xs James is just too cropped, I usually get xs for the width component but I couldn’t even wear high waisted bottoms without some skin showing, and I’m 5’4). I love grey so much though that I might have to sell and rebuy!

I had been going back and forth on this top after missing out on the original James blouse and thought that this would be perfect for where I live. An airy-breezy top for everyday. I went back and forth because I worried about the transparency of the white, the cut, everything. I ended up purchasing to "try" and it has stayed in my closet ever since. I tried it on with Aura pants and the Kea skirt, but then unexpectedly, with leggings and a jacket it is perfect for transitional weather. The waffle material is not see through but thicker and light, the weave provides just enough thickness for opacity but also is light enough to be comfortable and easy. It is very plush. The top is boxy fit and it can ride up a bit if you're not careful because it is shorter and loose. I also love that the top is stark white, it really compliments the other bottoms from HJ.
