When the dress arrived I was surprised how long it was (even on me at 5'10") but I loved the fit up top - the scoop neck and armholes are so breezy, easy, and flattering. I was nervous to wash it and have the whole dress shrink but upon washing it only became shorter in length (above the knee) which was exactly what I wanted! I have worn this dress four times - once over linen pants with a drapey cardigan (and I felt cool!) and 3 as a dress. I just love the way this dress feels and flows. When wearing as a dress I had black shorts and a black day bra under it and you can barely see the black. I think with nude underwear and bra it's opaque enough after washing that the undergarments would not be visible. I love that the dress fit is loose and open, the scoop neck and arm holes give some skin to juxtapose the volume. Finally, I have broad shoulders and ruffles can leave me feeling a little linebacker-ey, but the volume on these is minimal and flattering. Everything about this dress is a hit for me. For reference - I'm 5'10", 34AA, 27" waist, 38.5" hips. Taller girls - this piece is perfect!

My Mom tried this dress on in store and it was so cute on her. She's typically a L-XL and is 5'6" tall. She preferred the fit of the XS as it's a roomy fit. The mesh isn't see through and I know it's on her list (she went with the Margot this time).

Fun, flowy, easy dress. I thought this would be more of a cover up over a suit but once you wash it the mesh material “closes up” so it’s more opaque. Mesh cotton? I didn’t know that was a thing but it is and it’s summery fun! I am 5’7” and stuck with my normal size (S/M) but if you are short I suggest sizing down if between sizes.

I knew I would love this dress, but I didn’t know how much i’d love it!! The material is really unique — this net / gauze like texture that hangs and flows so nicely. After you get it, wash it and it will really take a new shape after that first initial wash. It’s casual and lightweight enough to wear to the beach of pool as a coverup, yet also dressy enough to be worn out for the day or night. So so happy with this and can’t wait to try more Harly J pieces now 🧡

I love every aspect of this dress, from the pockets to the cap sleeves, this will be a staple in my closet for years to come. The sizing is very flexible, I opted for an XS (36 bust, 39.5 hip). I did wash and dry (low heat) before wearing. The mesh fabric does close up after drying it in heat so it has become more opaque. What do I love most about this dress? It makes me feel beautiful. Bring on summer!
