      Garment Measurements

      As with any non-stretchy clothing, sizing can be tricky when ordering online. Please contact us if you'd like us to confirm your size!

      We recommend the same size as your Pierrot pants or Zipper skirt, unless they are very snug in the waist and midsection area. If so, size up in this style. Because the Tristan pants are higher waisted, more of your body has to fit in them, aka sizing up may give you more breathing room :)

      Mylk Tristan pants fit like a dream

      The Tristan pants are so incredibly flattering, especially in mylk with the contrast stitching. I wear a size small in HJ pants and they fit true to size, snug to put on because of the high rise, and then fit like a glove. They are head turning!

      Tristan vs. Pierrot...

      I purchased my first Pierrot pant in Olive and knew immediately that I needed another pair in another colour. I was so torn between Pierrot in cream or Tristan in Mylk. I took a gamble and chose the Tristan in Mylk and do not regret that decision whatsoever. The rise is definitely higher, so for those with a shorter torso it will come way up (like for me). That took a bit to get used to but I love the way I feel and look in these pants. They are a must if you are looking to build your capsule wardrobe. The fabric is soft but substantial that it will work through the transitional seasons and into fall/winter. I love the contrast stitching!

      Tristan pants

      I bought this one in mylk. what a fabulous color. A beautiful cream. The fabric is so soft and comfortable. I Purchased a size medium and they fit well. When I sit down and have to put my whole body into the pants at the end of the day they feel a bit snug. So I ended up ordering another pair, but in size large. I feel I need a larger size for the days when I feel plumper. Lol. I like having the variety of the two sizes.I find wearing these pants, joyful… They make me smile. I just love them.
      My measurements are 34 DD waist is 29 and hips are 40. I usually wear size 28/29 in jeans.

      Slow quality

      As an avid lover of vintage clothing, my first pair of Harley Jae pants, the Pierrot, came to me via a most fortunate thrift find. Having been so impressed with the look, quality and comfort, I decided to treat myself to this new style. I love them and the slightly higher rise. Great to mix with vintage 💛

      I cannot rave about the fit of these enough! They are the perfect high waist without feeling constricted on my post partum body. The contrast stitching is beautiful and I can’t wait to dress these babies up and down!

      I normally wear XS in the aura and Pierrot pant but sized up to a S due to my waist/hip ratio. For reference I have a 27 waist and 36.5 hip. I can sit and move comfortable in this size. Please make another color! Denim maybe? 😬
