Such a delicate and stunning top. I went back and forth on splurging on a doll blouse as I wasn’t sure if I’d like it on as much as I like it in photos, but it really is so pretty! Mine is actually the maple gingham, it’s a beautiful pattern. My closet was lacking in dressier short sleeve tops, so this is a great addition!

I learned about the doll blouse on Lucky Sweater and was hooked and looked all over to find one secondhand. When I couldn't find one used, I bought one new in black and it was worth every penny. I have a big bust (45 inch/40E) and was worried the frills would feel cartoony but I love the proportions. The fit is flattering and feels unique but also versatile. I'm always hunting for a second!
In photos I really loved this top, but hesitated on it for myself because this general style of top has historically been unflattering on my body. I’m SO glad I ended up going for it because the fit is absolutely perfect. I couldn’t believe how flattering it was. It’s very clear that Harly Jae has taken a lot of care in making the fit just right. I love where the hem line hits my body, the length of the sleeve and the feminine ruffle. The material is light and very breathable. Would 100% purchase in other colours. I’m typically a small (5’7” 140lbs 34B) and went with the S/M and it fits perfect.
