I adore this top! It is so lightweight, breezy, and feminine with the most gorgeous details. I received three compliments the very first day I wore it. I am typically a size small, and I bought the s/m size. I easily could have sized down for a bit less of a flowy look. The neckline is decently low and wide, so a little bralette underneath is perfect for just in case. I haven’t had any issues with it sliding off though, and it’s only when I have a purse tugging down on my top or when I’m bending down that my bralette shows at all.

As usual a beautifully-made piece from HJ. Love the checked linen pattern as it complements the very romantic frilly style and keeps it more modern-looking. A couple notes. I would normally wear a size 2-4 or EUR 36, I got the XS in this one and with my sloping shoulders it stays on--but just barely. As expected, this tends to blow around in the wind which is great to keep cool in summer breezes but if you live in extreme winds like me you might want to tuck in or wear a more substantial sports bra underneath.

I have and love all of the doll blouse colours but this taupe check is my most favourite. The check pattern is subtle and natural and goes with everything. It's also so very soft. A must have for the warmer months! The doll blouse is a combination of vintage, sexy and romantic feels.

I bought this blouse in studio over the summer which was such a treat!! They didn’t have an XS in stock so I ended up going with a S/M but definitely could’ve done an XS. It was quite snowy in the cleavage area which is how Laila designed it and I personally don’t mind but I know some people might. I do think a 2.0 version of this too with an adjustable drawstring would make this that much more friendly for those who all feel differently about showing the cleavage. But overall this is the easiest, most stylish top I own. Sooo easy to dress up or down! And so comfortable. Linen for life.

I love this design! I just had a baby a few months ago and it’s so easy to wear. Comfortable as a loose tee but makes me feel dressy. Love the fabric as well!
