Every single piece by this brand is an absolute dream! This top is no exception! I recieved it as a gift and I will be wearing it for years to come! I am breastfeeding and the small/medium size is perfectly oversized without feeling too large!
Size XS. The first time I wore my doll blouse, I got a compliment from a complete stranger within the first 5 minutes of being out in public. And it wasn’t the only time. It’s definitely the piece I get complimented for the most. I knew before purchasing that there would be significant gaping on my small bust due to the low neckline. So, I pair it with Numi undershirts (the lace and crop styles in almond) that have almost matching necklines, but are snug-fitting. The cotton is so light and airy that even a slight summer breeze catches it, which I love. I bought this blouse for its ruffles, especially the sleeves. What I didn’t anticipate was how much I would adore the way it flutters in the wind. It makes me feel like a modern day Jane Austen character. Since the whipped butter colourway leans semi-sheer and my undershirts are sheer, I also wear Nood no-show covers that have thicker centres for full coverage. I’ve worn this combination of layers on hot, humid days and have been comfortable. I find myself reaching for my natural aura pants most with this blouse for a refined, yet laidback, monochromatic look, but the whipped butter is such a versatile colour, it truly goes with anything and everything.
I adore the neckline and the femininity of this top. I didn't realize that it is a high-low top, and the front is very cropped. I wear this top occasionally, but probably would not repurchase for that reason.
I own two doll blouses and they have become instant staples in my wardrobe! It's such a flattering cut and I love the feel of the 100% cotton fabric. You can truly dress it up or down and it goes with absolutely everything. I get so many compliments every time I wear this blouse.
I love it, the design is so thought of and fits super well. Of course I need to steam it a bit before wearing, but it’s worth it, thinking of getting it in an other colour
