I LOVE the elastic tie waist as my waist is large in relation to my smaller hips. Even with this stretch the skirt drapes beautifully and it pretty much goes with any top. It is a good one!
For reference, I am 5’3” and I typically wear a medium on the bottom. I have curvy hips with a smaller waist. I purchased the medium and I honestly could have ordered the size small but I really like the roominess of the medium. The material, the drape, the feel are all so good. I will be getting a ton of use out of this. CPW (cost per wear) this is a great bargain!
This skirt is the perfect addition to my HJ capsule wardrobe. It is flowy, comfortable and the perfect essential staple for spring and summer. I sized to an XL apposed to my normal XXL size of the Zipper skirt as the elastic drawstring waist allows you to cinch it a bit more. It flows beatifully over the hips and the slit in the back adds the perfect elegance. A must have in my opinion.
My girlie skirt arrived in the mail today... and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. And Girlie it is! The frill bottom is just so cute and I love the elastic waistline. It is made from a very lightweight linen and it fits me perfectly. My waist is 34 inches and my hips are 41 inches. I bought the medium and wouldn't size up or down. It looks great with my Harly Jae tops but pretty much goes with any other top in my closet. Love it.
I am so pleased with this skirt! Once putting it on I knew I’ll be wearing this for years to come. The fit is true to size, and the style is foolproof - it makes me feel confident and feminine. I might just have to get the black!
