We spent a beautiful afternoon shooting this collection at the stunning property of one of our dear store customers. The amount of thought and detail she has put into her home, the outdoor spaces and the property itself made it feel absolutely magical to be there. We’re so grateful she lent us her space for this shoot. (Thanks again Sylvia!)

Now, onto the pieces.

Chapter Two includes three new pieces. I’ve found that three is our sweet spot: it gives us enough room to properly share the details and sizing of each new design without overwhelming you (and ourselves!). It also keeps each launch feeling fresh, fun and easy to take in.

First is the Clark Skirt. It sits somewhere between our Thorne Trousers and the Zipper Skirt, a design we released a few years ago. It’s meant to feel chic without compromising on comfort.

It has the three-quarter elastic waistband you love from the Thorne Trousers and Shorts, giving it a tailored look with a much more comfortable fit. There are deep pockets, belt loops, front pleats and a generous slit that makes walking easy. The fabric drapes over the body without feeling tight anywhere.

I love it paired with one of our Casita Cardigans. The balance of a more fitted top with the relaxed skirt feels very Calvin Klein in the 90s to me.

The second piece is a brand new take on our Lucia Blouse, called Claire. It borrows the same proportions as the Lucia but this time in cotton and linen, with a sweet little ruffle along the bottom. If you own and love the Lucia, you already know that this shape also looks beautiful worn open as a light cardigan.

We’re offering it in a soft ivory cotton and cotton/linen navy plaid.

Last but definitely not least is the Bastien Coat made from two layers of wool sewn together. It’s cropped, slouchy and meant to be the piece you throw on while heading out the door to instantly add warmth and style to your favourite fall looks.

The seam and pocket details at the front, along with the combination of the two fabrics, make this piece completely stand out. Almost everyone who has seen the samples at the store has already put in their preorder!

Please note (since it's a bit confusing from the images) this is not a reversible coat, it will be offered in both colours shown below.

I designed it last year, but we weren’t able to finalize it in time for the season. I’ve been waiting a full year to finally get my hands on one and I’m so excited that it’s here!
